We're cooking again!
Year 9 and 10 had a great time today practising their cooking skills. Year 9 recapped the food science of coagulation, dextrinisation and caramelisation when they cooked little cakes. Year 10 also practised caramelisation and lamination when they made puff pastry tarts and turnovers.
Pupils commented that it was 'brilliant to be back in action'. .
We were happy to see so many smiling faces and smell delicious food!
