Matthew Heron

At the end of university we had a model making exhibition in London called new blades where multiple students from multiple universities from all over the country displayed their work. In the evening, employers from all industries involving model making came to look at our work.

I was given business cards from some architecture companies and then received an email the following day from one of the companies called Farrells asking if I wanted an interview. I went for the interview the following week and was offered the job a day later. I started the following month.

In our model shop it’s just me and my boss and we make everything from sketch models from foam and card to detailed models from wood and acrylic. I’ve just finished my six month probation and have been taken on permanently.
