Sixth Form performance

In 2017 our sixth form students performed well across the curriculum with our exam results and performance reflecting the hard work and dedication students and staff demonstrate every day.

2017 Key Stage 5 (sixth form) results

The progress compared to students across the country is shown below, separately for A Levels, academic and applied general qualifications:

A Level Progress: 0.00 (this means that students achieved what was expected, based on their prior attainment at GCSE).

Academic Progress: 0.00 (this means that students achieved what was expected, based on their prior attainment at GCSE).

Applied General Progress: + 0.5 (this means that students achieved ½ grade higher than expected, based on their prior attainment at GCSE).

The average grade that students achieved is shown below, separately for A Levels, academic and applied general qualifications.

The average grade is C for A Level and Academic qualifications. It is Distinction * for Applied General qualifications.

The progress made in GCSE English and mathematics is not given because there are fewer than 5 students included in either measure and so data is not published as it could be used to identify students.

The retention measure is the percentage of students who get to the end of the main programme of study in each qualification type.

At Teesdale, 100% of students were retained on both academic and applied general programmes of study.

The destination measure is the percentage who continue to education, training, employment.

Whilst at the time of leaving, all students were planning to continue into education, training or employment, there are no published figures at this time providing this information for 2016 or 2017.
