Our brilliant Teesdale Sixth Form Interact group were shortlisted for the Young Achievement category at the Pride of Teesdale Awards that took place this week. The group were recognised for their tremendous charity and community work during the last academic year.
This year the group has grown in number and is involved in new and exciting projects. They are currently collecting produce for the local Trussell Trust food bank and are in the early stages of a project to help develop a model farm in Lesotho in southern Africa.
On Thursday 13 December they are hosting another charity quiz night which aims to raise money to help those impacted by the refugee crisis. Watch this space for information about the evening and how to enter your quiz team!
