We are looking for poets who can help two of our Year 12 students with an inspiring project that explores the legacy of WW1 in its centenary year.
In a bid to get different viewpoints, the two students would like to invite parents, carers or family members of children at our school to write a poem around the subject 'What does War Mean?'. Once complete, please send them into school with your child to be collected in English lessons.
The deadline for poems is the end of November so plenty of time to ruminate and come up with a special piece of work.
