Some of our students recently competed in the Royal Society of Chemistry's Top of the Bench competition. Students, Kate, Isaac, Chloe and Meadow were tasked with creating a reaction that would suddenly change colour at exactly 15, 45 and 75 seconds in. Having tested a few pre-designed solutions that changed colour over time, the experiment was a massive success and secured the team 5th place in the competition. The students behaved impeccably throughout the day and conducted themselves extremely well. They were a credit to both themselves and our school. Well done everyone!
