A group of Year 9 students ended last week with an exciting visit to Newcastle University to get a taste of what uni life is like!
Here's a glimpse of their itinerary:
What is University – a talk on university life
Universitree – an interactive activity that gets the students to think about their next steps. Looking at GSCEs, A-levels and Degree options
Campus tour – Interactive campus tour activity
Careers – Interactive activity looking at transferable skills, and how these relate to job adverts
Goal setting – The students set goals for themselves.
It was a great day and students took a lot away from the experience.
