Sixth formers Evie A and James C and Year 11 student Ryan A, treated members of the public to a South American cookery demonstration as part of the Barnard Castle Small World Festival. Among the guests were the Lord Lieutenant of County Durham, Sue Snowdon and the town mayor, Rima Chatterjee. Part of the menu was frango churasco, seasoned chicken with spicy potato wedges and guacamole, and huevos rancheros, a traditional breakfast dish served with homemade torillas. Tasty work!
