Last week we were joined by Dr Ella Dzelzanis from Newcastle University who kindly gave our Year 10 and 11 students a talk on the social and cultural significance of A Christmas Carol.
Our students really enjoyed the talk and behaved brilliantly throughout. We hope the experience provided further depth to their ongoing study of the text as part of their GCSE course.
