Last week, as part of our careers education programme, some of our Year 10 students finished their 6-week workplace project ran by Durham Works. The final step of the project was to complete a work place visit with the employer Husqvarna.
During their workplace visit students took part in a site induction, a welcome to the company meeting, a site tour and a Q&A session. The students who attended the trip received excellent feedback from Durham Works: "The students were a credit to Teesdale School with exemplary behaviour and attitudes, and they asked the employer some fantastic questions. It seemed to me that they all got a lot from the visit which makes it all worthwhile"
Well done to those students involved and thank you to Durham Works for running and organising the project and trip!
