Students across Teesdale School enjoyed Industry Day this week where we welcomed guests from the NHS, the Auckland Project, GSK and many more businesses and services.
Students heard about a variety of career paths and vocations and attended carousel sessions where they were given lots of helpful advice and information.
The message that was loud and clear throughout the day was that students should aspire aspire to find their passion, the subject, interest or challenge that makes them happy. If our students can find a job in the future that allows them to do the thing that they love and help others in the process, then they will find real fulfilment.
We would like to say a huge thanks to all of the external speakers who gave up their time during the day. We know you will have sown the seeds of career ideas in many of our students and planted inspiration for the future.
