Recently, talented pianists from Years 7 to 11, entertained an audience to raise money for the End Polio Now charity.
The concert was a collaboration between our school's music department and Interact Club and featured a range of music from Coldplay and Queen to Einaudi.
The concert was an opportunity to showcase the talents of 15 of our students, most of whom have piano lessons with our piano teacher, Ms Ballantine.
The money raised will support End Polio Now, a Rotary International campaign to eradicate the spread of polio worldwide through vaccination. Every pound raised is double matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, meaning that the £320 we raised has the impact of almost £1,000!
We would like to say a special thanks to all of our performers as well as Evie, Jake, Cara, Jess and Chloe who provided refreshments on behalf of the Interact Club and ran the raffle.
Everyone had a great time in the name of a wonderful cause.
