Last week six lucky students from Teesdale visited Dénia in Spain to learn about astronomy and gamification. They were joined by students from Turin, Porec, Montpellier and Athens.
During the first part of the week students delivered an astronomy presentation before dividing into multinational groups to create a board game about astronomy. The board game involved augumented reality where players could use their phones to watch astronomy videos. The videos were also created by students.
During the week students visited the cCty of Sciences in Valencia as well as taking part in a fun run for Unicef and attending lectures from the Iberian Astronomical Association.
It's fair to say a 'stellar' time was had by all! Thank you to all staff who supported students omn the trip.
