Last week, on Thursday 7th March, the English department ran a lunchtime event for students across all year groups who wanted to celebrate World Book Day.
Quizzes and word searches, masks and bookmarks, front cover designs and mini-sagas were just some of the book-themed activities available.
The English staff were really pleased to have students from Year 7 through to Year 13 participate in the event and enjoy the fun.
The event was so full on the day that students and staff carried on having fun with World Book Day the next day, in order to give those who didn't have the chance to finish their activities a chance to do so. A good time was had by all- twice!
