Artists at Teesdale have been exploring the darkroom this term to develop their work, creating photograms, negatives and enlarging their own photos.

Year 13 photography student, Daisy Goodwin, said "I really enjoy this process of creating work, I love the immediate way the photo appears. It's like magic! It makes me feel like I am in an old movie. It's been fantastic to help me develop my ideas and working with Mr Kirkbride has been brilliant as he has shown me lots of different techniques to use."

As well as Year 13, Year 9 students have also enjoyed creating photograms and developing their natural form photography in response to Karl Blossfeldt, and Year 11s have developed their photos in response to their exam theme of 'Industrial Heritage'.

A huge thank you to Mr Kirkbride for all his support in getting us started!
