Well done to our chamber choir who gave a fantastic world premiere performance of the Dunelm Lux Aeterna last week at Durham Cathedral.
The performance was a culmination of a project which has been ongoing since July 2018. The piece was commissioned by the Durham Music Service and our students worked with professional composer, Paul Smith, and vocal group, VOCES8, to create, rehearse and perform this work as part of the third annual Durham Vocal Festival.
An amazing opportunity for students to perform in such a prestigious venue - well done!
