Our fantastic Year 9 students have been hard at work creating Christmas cakes this term.
They started off by creating their designs and baking their fruit cakes before getting to the real fun - decorating!
The students brought their designs to life, developing their icing skills along the way with some students using fondant to create whimsical characters and others using royal icing.
Olivia said: "I am so pleased with my cake! I have expanded my skills and loved the whole process. I can't wait for my little sister to see it!"
Benji said: "I loved the freedom of being able to design my cake and I loved bringing my creation to life."
