At Teesdale Sixth Form we are about more than just exam results. We believe that it is important that our students make a positive impact on those around them and make a difference in the local and wider community.

This week, Year 12 and 13 students attended a session run by homelessness charity, Depaul. Over 80,000 young people face the homelessness or hidden homelessness each year in the UK and Depaul works to provide practical help to those in desperate need.

Students took part in a game to simulate some of the problems faced by young people at risk and explored some of the difficult decisions they have to make.

The Sixth Form Committee will be leading efforts to raise money for DePaul in the coming months.
