This term, 50 students in Year 7 travelled to France to try out their French speaking skills in a small town called Montdidier.

Using their knowledge of the French language, the group successfully ordered drinks in a café, bought their own picnics at the local market and found their way to the post office to send a postcard home.

They visited Amiens and its amazing cathedral, Parc Asterix, the beach at Le Touquet, and Europe's biggest aquarium in Boulogne.

There were prizes along the way for the most intrepid use of French and for trying out new foods. Oh - and we visited the chocolate factory too - what a treat!
