Congratulations to Year 9, Kaitlyn Belle Ramsay, who has been crowned 'Teen Ambassador' at the recent Belle UK teen pageant in Chiltern.

Kaitlyn, who only began doing pageants in March, has already claimed one of the top prizes for her age group and will go on to compete in the international arm of the competition in Spain.

As part of her role in the pageant circuit, Kaitlyn has undertaken many hours of charity work for a range of worthy causes including The Alzheimer's Society and Be Brave Bears raising hundreds of pounds by making appearances, packing bags and taking part in charity fashion shows.  She also held a bake sale at Teesdale School in aid of the Belle UK nominated charity, Ronald McDonald House.

Her next charity appearance will be at M&Co's charity fashion show on 21st August, 6.30pm in M&Co Barnard Castle. Tickets are £2 from the store with all proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House in Alder Hey.

Speaking of her pageantry success Kaitlyn says: "It means the world to me, my confidence has grown since I started competing and I have already made some amazing friends. I love the charity side of it and have already beaten the target that I gave myself."

We are very proud of Kaitlyn's commitment and wish her the best of luck in her future pageantry fundraising career.
