Well done to Lily and Ben who took part in the county athletics championships last Saturday in Jarrow after qualifying for the event in the area championships in May.
Ben Arundel finished 3rd in the boys junior javelin with a magnificent throw of 22.88 metres.
Lily Thompson finished 8th in the junior girls 200m in a time of 32.3 seconds.
