On Friday 10 November Teesdale students swapped their usual lessons for a day with a difference exploring career opportunities and demonstrating team building skills. Years 8, 9 and 10 experienced a carousel of actvities from a range of providers including GSK, Groundworks, Northumbria University, the armed services, while Year 7 visited Houghall College in Durham. All students were given the opportunity to find out more about higher education, apprenticeships and voluntary work.
Some also completed activities investigating the range of careers in the NHS and explored information on icould (an interactive careers database) and participated in team building activities.
