Neil Williams

Neil joined Teesdale School in 2009 and has been a qualified teacher since 2003 following his graduation from Durham University, where he studied geophysics.

Prior to his appointment as an assistant headteacher, he was the Head of Science in a large ‘outstanding’ department.

Neil is passionate about school improvement and creating a culture where teachers can deliver truly excellent lessons. He reads avidly around educational issues and is currently reading about how lessons from cognitive psychology can be used with impact in classrooms. He supports Arsenal (we try not to hold that against him) and normally builds his social time around their fixture list!
